Website Terms of Use

Effective: June 2026

These terms of use govern your access to and use of the website at joannelockwood.co.uk (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These website terms are separate from the commercial terms that apply when you engage our services, which are set out in our Our Expectations (Our Terms).

1. Who we are

The Site is operated by SEE Change Happen Ltd (company number 13138905, VAT GB 368 9768 15), trading as Joanne Lockwood — The Inclusive Culture Expert ("we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at [email protected].

2. Using this site

We provide the Site for general information about our speaking, workshops, podcast and consultancy services. We may update, change or withdraw any part of the Site at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that the Site, or any content on it, will always be available or uninterrupted.

You are responsible for ensuring that anyone who accesses the Site through your internet connection is aware of these terms and complies with them.

3. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, downloadable documents, video and the design and arrangement of the Site — is owned by or licensed to SEE Change Happen Ltd and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, download and print pages from the Site for your own internal, non-commercial reference. You must not reproduce, republish, adapt, distribute or commercially exploit any content, or train AI systems on it, without our prior written permission. Downloadable assets such as the speaker profile and headshots are provided for the promotion of booked or prospective engagements only.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site in any unlawful way, or for any fraudulent or harmful purpose;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its server, or any connected system;
  • introduce viruses, malware or other malicious or technologically harmful material;
  • scrape, harvest or systematically extract content except as permitted above; or
  • misuse the Site in any way that could damage, disable or impair it.

The Site links to and embeds third-party services — including the TidyCal booking calendar, our video showreel hosted on our content delivery network, the Inclusion Bites podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube, and our Substack. These services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or availability. Links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

6. Cookies and analytics

The Site itself does not set tracking or advertising cookies, and we use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics that do not identify individual visitors.

Some embedded third-party services may set their own cookies or collect usage data when you interact with them — for example the booking calendar, the video player, or podcast and social platforms. Where this happens, it is governed by that provider's own cookie and privacy policies.

7. Privacy and data protection

We handle personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. How we collect, use and protect your information is set out in our Privacy Policy and, for event delegates, our Data Protection of Delegate Information Policy. By using the Site you acknowledge that processing as described in those policies.

8. Disclaimer

Content on the Site is provided for general information only and does not constitute professional, legal or HR advice. While we take reasonable care to keep the Site accurate and up to date, we make no representations or warranties, express or implied, that the content is complete, accurate or current. Any reliance you place on it is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we will not be liable for any loss or damage — whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise — arising out of, or in connection with, your use of or inability to use the Site, including any indirect or consequential loss, or any loss of data, profit, revenue, business or goodwill.

10. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms at any time by updating this page. The date at the top shows the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Site after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms, their subject matter and formation are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
